Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach, an IHG Hotel

Message: It was our second time staying at the resort and it is nothing short of amazing. You don't even need to leave the resort for anything. They've got a tiki bar, a store, pools, kiddy park, restaurant, and even entertainment/shows. This IS PARADISE :) the rooms/lobby, whole hotel is very clean. So clean you can smell the cleanliness. Highly recommend to all friends & family. The staff is super nice/caring! The only issue I had this time after our week stay, is our trash wasn't taken out of our rooms, and our floors weren't swept. Also, no towels were brought except once. We threw our own trash away. We didn't have a do not disturb sign up, so I'm not sure why our room wasn't refreshed. I remember last time we stayed it was. But hey, I can deal with that. Overall this is THE BEST place hands down to stay. we love the resort and will be back. :).

Message: This hotel is everything I was looking for! Great views, very relaxing, beautiful and not to mention.. surrounded by tons of restaurants! Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations! The staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of the golf cart drivers that took us and picked us up from our car. They were NOT friendly at all. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely return.

Message: My wife and I have stayed at this location often. Two years ago I wrote a less than stellar review because that visit was presumably our last due to an overall bad experience. I won't get into the specifics of that visit however this trip proved they've made great strides in food/drink quality and customer service. I'm so glad to see the improvements because we've always enjoyed staying here. I do want to mention "Bobby" at the customer check-in. Wow, what a great addition to the hotel's team. His customer services skills are incredible and a great model for others to emulate. He took great care of us and I appreciate his passion for the hospitality industry.

Message: Great location and no need to leave the property if you don't want to. Everything a parent or kid would want is here. Drinks and food are pricey on property so bring your own if you want to budget. Rooms have a full size refrigerator in them. The staff was awesome and very friendly. Parking is across the street however they have a golf cart shuttle that runs nonstop 7am to 11pm to get you to your car. Even if you miss it it's not far to walk. They have a lazy river that runs until dusk, a large family pool, kids pool, adult only jacuzzi and kids water play area that are open 8am to midnight. Very easy access to the beach. Great property!

Message: Pretty good but a little pricey overall. Not sure I would recommend the breakfast option when booking. It’s just too expensive. The pool, lazy river, and splash pad were great and my kids loved it. It’s right on the beach and every room has a balcony/ocean view, make sure you book at least a couple floors up in order to see the beach and not just the pool and to be far enough up from the noises. The fire show was great but it was the same show every night we were there. Plenty of food options on site which was great and the food was actually pretty good but too expensive. Loved that there was a shop/convenience store on site with a good inventory and decent prices which was surprising. The kids eat free option also wasn’t great but doable, ended up having to pay for extra food a couple times. Tried to order room service the first night because we were exhausted but had to go search for our food after an hour and a half. The family rooms are amazing and all hotels should offer them! We got the king bed with the bunk bed separated by a partition and it worked perfect for our family of 4 for a few nights. Overall, definitely worth staying especially if you have kids. I would just eat somewhere else most of the time.
