Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort

Message: Took my mom and one of her friends for her retirement party. We've stayed at another resort with the parent company, Southern Rentals, so we were confident that the stay would go well. Exceeded expectations! In our opinion, the price was great for the view and everything included (We were in Tower 2, third floor). Beach wasn't super crowded compared to other areas down the stretch, so we weren't battling for a spot. To be fair, we didn't utilize the pools, or much of the resort across the road. But what we did use was accompanied by prompt and polite service. Food from the grill by the beach was delicious, too! Would definitely go back!

Message: My family enjoyed our stay here. We love the huge lagoon style pool by the beach and we also love that they have pools spread out through the condo area across the street. The tram service is awesome and super convenient. You can hop on with all your things and catch a ride right over to the beach. There's a little restaurant and lounge chair service which is nice too. The resort is older and a little dated in some places but the amenities make up for it. Some condos are more updated than others, but it looks like you can select them yourself on the website now, which is nice.

Message: Quality of the respite has seemed to go down over the last few times I have been here. They now charge for the wrist bands if you take them home, and makes me wonder how many other people have warn these.. They have some rooms that are incredibly nice, then others just seem old and not kept up with quality. So a real gamble in which took experience.. Biggest issue is that I’m pretty sure they have electrical code violations. The outlet in my bathroom is not a GFCI, and most places require that when near a sink.. I will say everything seems pretty clean, even if the smell of cigarettes are noticeable from most people at the resort.

Message: I winter here from Canada and enjoy the weather. The resort is well maintained, clean and safe. The recreation facilities are very expensive so I go to a local gym and use the pickle ball courts elsewhere for free. The beach is excellent and very clean. You can get a few miles walking done without any problem. Golfing is just a short walk away from the beach. Frank Brown park is a few miles away where you can walk or cycle through the paved trails. I bring my road bike every year and use the trails regularly.

Message: Renting was easy to do. 12 floor had a roof balcony was nice to sit on. Beach being close was great. Pools supposed to be heated but not by much at all I'm November the week we stayed. Barely warmer than ocean. Hot tubs were nice and warm. Did like they kept the place clean and were cleaning pool every morning so that was good. They have small xhap to get coffee or cool drinks for the beach so that is good. Alot of chairs around pool so that was nice for setting outside.
